Sales and Marketing Consultant EMEA (fulltime)

As a Sales and Marketing Consultant EMEA you will act as the main consultant towards local commercial structures in the assigned territory as well as to the cross-functional marketing team. This role entails translation and adaptation of the regional marketing plan to local expectations and needs as well as its execution to drive brand awareness and growth within. You will also be involved in the localization of campaign materials and the implementation of media planning. These include digital managing local congresses and exhibitions, identifying the market needs and opportunities for maximizing sales and profits and  managing the assigned territory marketing budget.

Main responsibilities:

  • Gather, investigate, and summarize market opportunities; understand customer (B2B2C) requirements, identify market and pricing trends, and recommend improvements to achieve the company's marketing goals
  • Collaborate closely with commercial teams/ distributors on analysing and preparing annual budget plans (sales and marketing) to ensure that sales targets and marketing expenditure goals are met
  • Build KOL network (speakers, key customers, institutions) to support execution of the plan
  • Acts as the main consultant towards local commercial structures in the assigned territory as well as to the cross-functional marketing team (and other functions through the organization)
  • Train and coach sales teams, as needed, on required aspects of brand strategy including development of training collateral.

The ideal candidate will have/ be:

  • At least 5 years of relevant progressive work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or a related field required
  • Excellent command of the English language; German, Spanish and French would be an asset
  • Excellent project management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage/coordinate multiple projects and markets under tight deadlines for different stakeholders
  • Team player who is at their best working with various functional areas within a matrix organization/ ability to successfully interact across all levels and functions within the company
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills (written and verbal communications)
  • Extremely organized, proactive, flexible and collaborative with demonstrated ability to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
